Trim
Bill negotiation service
Trim was a bill-negotiation service that took a percentage of your savings, with a bank-linked subscription monitor on the side. Subkept is a tracker, not a negotiator. They were never the same product. Trim's consumer service has also been substantially reduced since the OneMain acquisition; confirm current status before signing up.
Subkept and Trim were never really competing for the same users. Trim was a bill-negotiation service that also happened to show you a list of your subscriptions. Subkept is a subscription tracker that does not negotiate bills at all. Comparing them is useful mainly if you are deciding whether you need tracking or negotiation.
There is also a practical wrinkle worth knowing upfront: Trim's consumer service has been substantially scaled back since OneMain Financial acquired the company in 2021. Public reporting since 2022 indicates the product is no longer actively onboarding new users in the same way. Any evaluation of Trim today should start by verifying it is still operating.
If what you need is a focused subscription tracker with no bank link and flat pricing, Subkept fills that role. If what you need is bill negotiation on phone, cable, or internet providers, Rocket Money is the most active option currently available.

Things neither product's marketing page will tell you upfront.
Trim was built for bill negotiation. Subkept does not negotiate. If lowering a Comcast bill is the goal, Subkept will not solve that.
Trim historically required a bank link. Subkept never has and never will.
Trim's product has been deprioritized since OneMain Financial acquired the company. Anyone evaluating Trim today should verify it is still operating.
